Abstract

Keddis et al. present a large, single-center experience that demonstrates improvement over time in survival of patients with diabetes and end-stage kidney disease who receive a kidney transplant. We discuss how these data should prompt transplant programs to consider providing greater access to transplantation for their patients with diabetes.
