Abstract

The family Vittariaceae is represented in the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil, by the genera Anetium, Antrophyum, Hecistopteris (a single species each) and Vittaria (with three species). Keys of the genera and species, brief descriptions, illustrations, as well as comments on the distribution and habitats are presented.
