Abstract
Starting from the ontological theories from the 80's about the image-printing (the index, the "isto foi"), we will remont the moviments of thoughts that led the theories of the photography, to beyound the tecnogical mutations, towards a more pragmatic thought, attached to the use of the images and, above all, inforrmed by the "theory of the possible worlds", applied to the visual field. The photo less like a fictional image of a possible world, "a-referencial" and "plausible". We will study the implications of this thought about the questions of the document and the file, the stock and flow, the image space-time unit and its non-fixity.
