Abstract
The conceptus and endometrium secrete large amounts of prostaglandin E 2 (PGE2) into the porcine uterine lumen during the periimplantation period. We hypothesized that PGE2 acts on conceptus/trophoblast cells through auto- and paracrine mechanisms.
