Abstract

The present study proposes to introduce "objective grade point averages (GPAs)" to guide students. An objective GPA is defined as a GPA calculated for each subject group with an educational objective in the curriculum flowchart. A tutor,one of the Fac- -ulty members of our Deptartment, had interviews with each student with their objective GPAs toward careful guidance. the motivation of the students for lrng. was confirmed to be enhanced from our preliminary attempts. ©2010 the Inst. of Elec.
