Abstract

Caffey disease is an uncommon benign self limiting disease typically presenting in a young infant with fever, irritability and soft tissue swelling. . It can mimic osteomyelitis, scurvy, hypervitaminosis A, bone tumours and child abuse etc. Good clinical examination, requisite radiographs & laboratory tests and if necessary biopsy are main clues to the diagnosis. We report case of a two years old female admitted in Bahawal Victoria hospital with complaints of fever, irritability and bones swelling.
