Abstract

The Hall effect has been studied in some Co-rich ferromagnetic metallic glasses which show resistivity (p) minima at low temperatures. It is found that the extraordinary Hall constant (Rs) shows a corresponding minimum. The scaling relation Rs∼ρn holds with n≃2 showing the dominance of quantum transport in these high-resistive disordered systems. The temperature dependences of magnetization and electrical resistivity are also interpreted in terms of existing theories.
