Abstract

Service trade is an important part of China’s foreign trade, which plays a significant role in optimizing our trade structure and accelerating the upgrading of our export trade. As a new engine of foreign trade growth, cross-border e-commerce is beneficial to improve the scale of China’s service trade, optimize the structure of service trade and enhance the overall competitiveness of emerging service trade. The application of China’s cross-border e-commerce in the field of service trade is still in the exploratory stage, facing problems such as insufficient demand, many differences in rules, imperfect statistical and regulatory system and international trade protectionism. In order to promote the reform of the development mode of service trade, specific suggestions are made in the following aspects: creating a favorable environment for the development of cross-border e-commerce and service trade, encouraging service trade innovation in cross-border e-commerce transactions, actively participating in the formulation of trade rules and improving the international competitiveness of export-oriented enterprises.
