Abstract
Hepatitis B is a type of infectious disease and is classified as dangerous. The number of people with hepatitis B worldwide is estimated at around 350 million. The average prevalence of hepatitis B in Indonesia is 10%, with variations between 3.4-20.3% in each region. The purpose of this study was to implement an expert system to diagnose Hepatitis B in pregnant women so that symptoms of Hepatitis B can be detected earlier. The method used in this study was Certainty Factor with six signs obtained by two internal medicine doctors. The output generated by the system is a confidence number with a rule value above 50% which means positive. The results of this study are an android-based system that can diagnose Hepatitis B in pregnant women, thereby reducing the risk to mother and child.
