Abstract

The past few years have seen considerable advances in the development of the methodologies for discovering novel genes critical to hematopoietic stem cell function and for analyzing their biological role in hematopoiesis. This review briefly discusses some common themes that are emerging from the molecular genetic approaches to hematopoietic stem cell function. Copyright © 1993 AlphaMed Press
