Abstract

in this review study, first definitions of "economics", "health economics" and related terms are provided. Then, pharmacoeconomic decision analyses such as cost-minimization, cost-benefit, cost-effectiveness, cost-utility have been described. The meaning of perspectives, costs and outcomes in pharmacoeconomics are also explained.
