Analyse Characteristics Physical Properties of Rock Manifestations Geothermal Semurup District of Kerinci Jambi with Hight Temperature

Abstract

There were some changes of mineral components, internal structure and moisture content of the rocks constituent after the thermal annealing treatment was given at 400, 500, 600 °C. Physical of testing rocks like; density, porosity, specific gravity, Absorption have a relationship with temperature. The test results showed that the average density decreased 0.7 g/cm3, porosity increased 26%, Density unchanged and Absortion increased 35%. The test of rock minerals components X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF).
