Abstract

The threat of bioterrorism is forcing governments to enact laws to prevent thepotential abuse of scientific research. However these laws can only go so far. Therefore biologists are being asked to apply their own moral judgement to their scientific findings in the hope of preventing future bioterrorism catastrophes.
