Abstract
This study aims to determine whether the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students taught using dakota props are better than those taught not to use dakota props in SD Negeri 61 Bengkulu City. This study used two groups, namely class IV A with 27 people as the control group and class IV B with 27 people as the experimental group. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables namely dakota props while the dependent variable was mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. Data collection techniques using observation and essay test questions. Data analysis techniques using the t test.The results showed that the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IV students taught using dakota props were better than those taught not using dakota props in SD Negeri 61 Bengkulu City. It can also be proven by the results of the t-test calculation, the t-test is 3.383 and the t-table value for with df 52 at a significant level of 5% is 1.674. From the analysis it was found that tcount is greater than ttable (3.383> 1.674). Thus there is a significant effect between learning outcomes using dakota props and those not using dakota props.
