Abstract

The study investigates accreditation of higher education in different countries and improvements in Turkish higher education. England, USA and Japan higher education systems are critisized according to accreditation procedures. At the end it is summarized that the accreditation of higher education is carried out for recognition, quality improvement or financial support from the government.
