Abstract

Nine pyrrolizidine alkaloids including three new compounds, were isolated from Parsonsia laevigata collected in Okinawa Island. No courtship pheromone with a dihydropyrrolizine framework was detectable in hair-pencil of Idea leuconoe, whose worms feed on the leaves of Parsonsia laevigata. © 1991, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
