Abstract

Hoheria equitum is newly described from the Poor Knights Islands and Hen and Chickens Islands off the east coast of Northland, New Zealand. It differs from H. populnea in its smaller, glabrescent flowers, and broadly elliptic leaves with recurved margins which are entire or only shallowly serrulate. The fruit is not known. © 2000 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
