GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN SWAMEDIKASI OBAT ANALGESIK PADA MASYARAKAT DI KELURAHAN TIDUNG RT 1 RW 3 KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

Analgesics are drugs to reduce or eliminate pain or painkillers without losing awareness to relieve pain symptoms can be cured by means of self- medication, self-medication is a treatment that is carried out independently to treat mild to moderate symptoms. Knowledge is the result of knowing, which occurs after sensing something. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of self-medication of analgesic drugs in the community in the Tidung sub-district, RT 1 RW 3, Makassar City. With a population of 200 people and the sample used was 37 respondents. This research was conducted in 2022. It is a descriptive study with data collection using a questionnaire given to the community. Based on the results of the study, it shows a level of knowledge of 52.2%, which means that people's knowledge is included in the Good Category.
