Abstract

The account that follows is based on the experience of a couple who decide to have a home childbirth. Throughout the text remains clear which values and beliefs support the decision of home birth and which practices are carried out to achieve a home chilbirth. The account is carried out by the husband. He explains that the woman takes unilaterally the decision to have a home childbirth, as he at first rejects this possibility, but little by little he is convinced that it is the best option and finally he decides to support and accompany his wife. © 2013 Fundación Index.
