Abstract

Seven new hosts in New Zealand are recorded, for alfalfa mosaic virus on field crops, Cicer arietinum L., Cyphomandra betacea (Cav.), Sendtn., Lavandula angustifolia subsp. angustifolia Mill., Lavandula angustifolia subsp. angustifolia Mill. × L. latifolia Medic, Lavandula latifolia Medic, Nicotiana tabacum L., and Origanum vulgare L. Four new hosts in New Zealand are recorded for cucumber mosaic virus on ornamental plants, Aubrieta sp., Dahlia pinnata Cav., Petunia × hybrida Hort.
