Penyesuaian diri pada siswa kelas VII : Adakah peranan kontrol diri ?

Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to see the relationship between self control with self adjustment . This self control becomes the independent variable in this study. While self adjustment is the dependent variable. The sample of this research was class VII with a total of 89 respondents. Sampling used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique, which is a method of determining a sample based on certain criteria. Data collection uses a self adjustment scale (α ¬= 0.931) and self control scale (α = 0.911) Hypothesis testing is carried out with the coefficient results a correlation of 0.834 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p <0.05) which indicates a very significant positive relationship between self control and self adjustment. This means that the higher the self control , the higher the self adjustment , and conversely , if the self control is low , the self adjustment is also low  Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan penyesuain diri . Kontrol diri ini menjadi variabel independen pada penelitian ini. Sedangkan penyesuain diri merupakan variabel dependen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII sejumlah 89 responden. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yakni non probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling , yaitu suatu metode penentuan sampel berdasarkan kriteria tertentu.Pengambilan data menggunakan skala penyesuain diri  ( α ­= 0.931 ) dan skala kontrol diri ( α = 0.911 ) Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,834 dengan taraf signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang menunjukkan hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan penyesuian diri . Artinya semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi pula penyesuain dirinya , dan sebaliknya jika kontrol diri rendah maka penyesuain dirinya juga rendah .
