Aplikasi Short Message Service (SMS) dan Email Sebagai Media Komunikasi Data dalam Sistem Pemantauan Suhu

Abstract

Direct temperature monitoring, moreover in extreme temperature condition is hazardous if done by human. To avoid fatal effect, we need an automatic monitoring system. The purpose of this research is to develop a system to do monitoring and recording every temperature change and send notification via email and SMS. System consists of Integrated Circuit (IC) LM35 as temperature sensor that responsible to convert temperature to a value of voltage, Microcontroller ATmega8535 that has function to convert voltage from IC LM35 to digital form and then send it to computer. Java program in computer process data sent by microcontroller ATmega8535, save it into MySQL database, show it in graphic or table, and send report via email and SMS, if temperature exceed a threshold value.
