Abstract

The aim of this paper is to prove common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings in modified intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces employing the common limit range property. Illustrative examples are also furnished to support our main results. Our results improve and generalize several previously known fixed point theorems of the existing literature. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
