Abstract

In 2015, the SDGs were adopted in order to achieve a peaceful and more prosperous future. Eradicating poverty, reducing consumerism, achieving equality, a more just society and guaranteeing an equitable education are some of those objectives. Among them, we must highlight the challenge of achieving sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all. A change in the economic system is necessary so that new horizons are opened in the labor market, growth and decent employment must go hand in hand and because of this the cooperatives, whit their history, values and principles, are the ideal entities for the fulfillment of the SDGs.
