Abstract

An introduction to the journal is presented in which the guest editor discusses various reports published within the issue including one by Martha Abele Mac Ivers on the role of school superintendents in improving student achievement, one by Linda R. Vogel and Harvey Rude on the educational program for Native American students, and one by Faith E. Crampton on urban school financing.
