Abstract
The following article proposes a reflection based on two action fronts on Cultural Analytics: on the one hand, to characterize the theoretical bases; and on the other, to analyze the methodological bases. Cultural Analytics is conceived as a field capable of generating complex studies from cultural data sets and their flows, since it comes from the relationships between Social Computing and Digital Humanities. The theoretical and methodological contexts developed allow us to think, make visible and understand the possibilities in the different communities of teachers/researchers. In the same way, we present the Cultural Analysis together with the perspective of free culture, because with this we strengthen its interpretation from a broad, open, creative, collaborative, shared and knowledge democratization perspective. In this sense, we are committed to a perspective where the software present in our cultural data, as datified characteristics of our culture, can be decoded or restructured into narratives that speak, tell and reference stories, which allows us to expose or interpret the relationships, visions and questions of educational spaces.
