Abstract
The progressive expansion of use of social networks among the Young Muslims and the converts to Islam provides the creation of "virtual" spaces of informal and communitarian discussion where the idea of a particular form of Islam, often claimed by different organizations in the "real" space, begins to be questioned. The "online" world allows greater freedom of movement because it breaks down those barriers or physical-emotional controls that characterize the "offline" world. It offers a "locus" of interaction where it is possible a collective reflection on one's daily life experiences to come out, creating different discourses that break and challenge stiffer institutional and transnational discourses.
