Application of the IoT technology in agriculture

Abstract

The article describes the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) for modern society, and in particular for agriculture. The problems that hinder the successful implementation of the Internet of things in the Russian agricultural sector are revealed. The six-level architecture of the Internet of things is described. The article describes RFID technology, various network technologies. Examples and possible applications of the Internet of things in the Russian agricultural sector are given.
