Abstract
This text explores the possibilities currently offered by the situationist discourse on the urban in the field of education, and aims at discerning whether this discourse is a useful tool for educators and future teachers at the beginning of the 21st century. To this end, the projects developed with our students will serve, throughout the text, as the articulating axis for our discourse. These projects look at the immediate environment, the inhabited places, the city… and are inevitably involved in the community, and which will bridge the gap between two seemingly disconnected conceptual frameworks; the situationist urban discourse, and that of education.
