Upaya Penanggulangan Tindak Pidana Revenge Porn di Indonesia

Abstract

This research discusses the urgency of overcoming the criminal act of revenge porn in the digital era. The aim of the research is to analyze the regulations in force to protect victims and tackle revenge porn crimes through a repressive and preventive approach. The approach used is prescriptive normative law using statutory and conceptual methods, analyzing primary and secondary legal materials through literature study, and applying deductive syllogism analysis. The research results show that overcoming the crime of revenge porn requires a combined approach between preventive policies, such as education and outreach, as well as repressive policies through legal action. It is hoped that the combination of the two can create a more effective system in tackling this crime.
