Abstract

Trata-se de etnografia da atividade extrativa da erva-mate, a luta na erva, no Sul do Brasil, pelos caboclos, servindo de fio condutor do modo de vida desse grupo. Aborda a categoria luta relacionalmente à categoria trabalho, acionada favoravelmente pelos de origem como prerrogativa étnica, apontando aos embates subjacentes.It is about the ethnography of the maté extractive activity, the maté fight, in the South of Brazil, by the copper-colored, being the "conductor wire" for the lifestyle of this group. It approaches the fight category related to the work category, propitiously added by the native ones as an ethnical prerogative, leading to the underlying oppositions.
