Abstract

For the study of turbulent configurations in complex channels, it is proposed to use the experimental method of mass entrainment in combination with theoretical analysis and mathematical description of the results obtained. The paper presents the results of numerous experiments conducted on high-enthalpy gas flows in nozzles of complex shape. Images were obtained that visualize the picture of the torsion-wave dynamic movement of gas flows, the presence of stable structured turbulent flow configurations, and the abrupt transition from one form of flow stability to another.
