Abstract
Dysphagia in Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease (PD) is characterised by a combination of progressive movement disorders and non-motor dysfunctions. Dysphagia is a common complaint, often with considerable physical and social consequences. This goal of this review is to present the epidemiology and pathophysiology of dysphagia in PD and to summarise the state of the art in treatment.
