Abstract

This paper analyzes the perceptions of students of the Master in Teacher Education at the Catholic University of Murcia (n=252) about the teaching methodology. Thus, the adaptation of the Questionnaire for the Assessment of Teaching Methodology and Evaluative University Professors has been necessary. Students think that a good teacher organizes and adequately explains the contents of his own material; he shows open to the reconstruction and development of staff knowledge by students, complementing the test with other methods of continuous assessment. Students value the teacher facilitates the program of the subject, establishing clear and well-defined objectives and methods and evaluation criteria. Finally, there were statistically significant differences in perceptions of students towards the teaching methodology according to their specialty, being more favorable for the Humanities, Social Sciences and Business, Philology and Language Physical Activity and Sport.
