Abstract

Anemia in visceral leishmaniasis is a usual manifestation; however, Coombs positive hemolytic anemia has been infrequently reported. In this brief communication, we report occurrence of immune hemolytic anemia in a young child with visceral leishmaniasis. She was successfully treated with liposomal amphotericin. © The Author [2007]. Published by Oxford University Press.
