Digital economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to develop a conceptual model of the use of the mechanism of the digital economy in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The research methodology is based on the application of a systematic approach to the study of socio-economic phenomena and processes. As a result of the study, the authors conclude that radical reforms are needed for the development of the digital economy in Uzbekistan. The current stage of development of the digital economy in Uzbekistan is in a period of formation and is characterized by a high dynamics of development. It is necessary to introduce innovative services. The development strategy of the digital economy should take into account the experience of advanced foreign countries, especially Korea. Revolutionary changes in the global financial system associated with the growth of electronic payment services, cryptocurrency, and lending without intermediaries are also covered.
