Abstract

Apometriocnemus japonicus sp. n. from Nagasaki, Western Japan is described. The new species is the first record from the Palaearctic Region, and the second species of the genus. It differs from the first species A. fontinalis Sther, 1985 from U.S.A. mainly in having an extremely small antennal ratio.
