Using Flipped Classroom Learning Model in developing some EFL Reading Skills among students at the Faculty of Specific Education

Abstract

English instructor Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of applying Flipped learning on developing reading comprehension skills among sophomores at the Faculty of Specific Education. The design of the study was one group design; the 30 participants of the study were from second year students teachers at the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagzig University in the academic year 2019/2020. They were instructed by applying Flipped Learning. The instrument of the study was: A pre-post reading comprehension skills test. Findings showed that applying the Flipped Learning helped the study group develop reading comprehension skills. Thus, it is recommended to apply the Flipped Learning in developing EFL students' reading comprehension skills at the Faculties of Specific Education in Egypt.
