Reply to "comments on 'On the step structure of alkali halide surfaces'"

Abstract

A discussion about the conditions in which V-shaped structures are obtained is presented. It is shown that the results of our paper are not related to surface contamination, and some clarification about the nucleation sites in our surfaces is made.
