Abstract
The aim is to articulate the representative movements of how the African Diaspora is read in Peru -the formation processes of the imaginary, reaffirmation of Afro- Peruvian identity and instances of resistance or recovery of collective memory-; also to investigate these aspects in the representation literary. The poetic work of Monica Carrillo (Oru) is the expression of voices that participate in the phenomenon of slavery and the struggle against racism, however, aims to strengthen cultural position located (Afro-Peruvian) and respond to the discourses that interpellate historically and culturally (slavery, racism, movements of black claim, among others).
