Abstract

The Degree in Early Childhood Education Teacher of the School of Education of Cuenca (University of Castilla-La Mancha) allows students to choose in their training the Mention in Creative Languages, unique both in the UCLM and in the rest of Spanish universities. It has an endowment of thirty credits that are taken in 3rd and 4th year, and thanks to it can be formed in several subjects related to education and musical expression, dramatic, plastic and body. On the other hand, in the Master's Degree in Primary Education the Mention in Music is also taught, which has a great tradition. In addition, within this mention, two musical subjects are taught: Didactics of Music in Infant Education and Production and Musical Interpretation. In this last case it is structured in three projects that the students must carry out. In addition, the last of them 'Lee, (re) creates, feels art!', Is shared with other subjects and combines dramatic expression, puppets, production and musical, visual and visual interpretation. Thus, the students, divided into groups of four or five people, must design and put into practice a puppet theater assembly that encompasses the Music, Plastic and Language areas (also Physical Education). Consequently, they create and write the theater, they design the puppets and the decoration starting from different pictures of very different artists and they sound (compose, arrange, interpret, improvise or record) the soundtrack of the proposal. Finally, it should be noted that the puppet plays are performed in front of children of pre-school education from different schools, who come to enjoy their proposals to the music classroom of the Faculty of Education.
