Abstract

The principles and the procedures and initial testing of an earthquake response analysis by a computer-actuator on-line system are described. (This system is later described as pseudo-dynamic or hybrid seismic testing). The developed system can perform the non-linear response analysis of frame structures taking account the non-linear behavior of the members. Further improvement has been doing on the accuracy to predict the stiffness at the new step especially for the multi-degree of freedom systems and on the accuracy of the load and the displacement measures obtained from the test.
