Abstract
Some 103 species of bryophytes are reported. The Melville Hills region lies entirely beyond the treeline in the Low Arctic zone of continuous tundra vegetation. A portion of the region was not glaciated during the latest Wisconsinan Glaciation. Range extensions are reported for 15 species. -from Authors
