Abstract
Since the end of 2022, the website for “Species Diversity” (see https://sites.google.com/view/species-diversity/) has been reorganized to provide easy access to the journal’s published content and features. After careful deliberation by the Associate Editors and Executive Council of the Japanese Society of Systematic Zoology, portions of the website have been rewritten to provide complete contact information for authors, specify the roles and responsibilities of both authors and editors, and clearly explain the Article Processing Charge (APC). The Notice to Contributors and the submission requirements for the journal have also been revised to emphasize authors’ expected attention to ethical/legal matters such as plagiarism and the use of genetic resources obtained from overseas, and to explain the new and mandatory ethical declarations that are to be included within each submitted work. In connection with all this, “Species Diversity” is issuing Corrections that add ethical declarations, etc. to seven papers that were accepted during 2022 and published under the submission rules then in force. Manuscripts intended for publication in Volume 28 (2023) must be prepared in accordance with the new Notice to Contributors and will only be accepted if the new requirements have been fulfilled
