Abstract

Perhaps no other social issue in recent times has experienced such rapid change in public opinion as that of homosexuality and same-sex marriage. To many, it has been the civil rights struggle of our time, to others-particularly conservative religious people-it is seen as a sign of the moral decay of our time.
