Abstract
600 planarians (Du ge s i a t i gr ina) made 0, I, 2,3, 4, or 5 forced 900 right-hand turns immediately before reaching a T choice point. There were 100 Ss in each of 6 groups, and each S was given one trial only. The proportion of Ss that turned left at the choice point in- creased with the number of forced 900 right turns pre- ceding the choice point. The proportions ranged from .43 to .76. Problem
