Abstract

Dialdehyde starch-Schiff base Co(II) complex was prepared in a simple way and characterized by FT-IR, UV-vis and XPS. Its ability to catalyze oxidation of cyclohexane with oxygen in the absence of solvents or reducing agents was studied, and its reusability of the catalyst also be investigated.
