Abstract

Agriculture is becoming more complex. New spheres of knowledge are needed to deal with technical and social innovations, land reforms, a proliferation of State subsidies, and new agricultural markets. Some young farmers with university diplomas are seeing the complexity of agriculture as an opportunity for professional and social integration, by thinking like the State institutions and using the State's vocabulary and standpoint. These young people have manage to combine their practical sense of agriculture with knowledge gained at the university.
