Instructional development of tie dye creation for elderly using a video tutorial

Abstract

This study aims to develop an instructional of Tie Dye Creation for the elderly with the application multimedia in the form of video tutorials. This multimedia was developed as media of learning fine arts especially Tie Dye Creation for the elderly to life in order to be more qualified. The approach was conducted in this study is a mixed-method to develop R&D models Borg and Gall. Research is focused towards the development of instructional Fine Arts video tutorial related materials to make Tie Dye Creations for elderly as well as the design and implementation of based learning. Design of instructional development is beneficial to increase productivity in tie dye creation by the elderly. The product consists of video tutorial and concise manual book of tie dye creation. The results showed that the product improved the elderly learning outcomes effectively. That included the quality of tie dye products and life of the elderly. Based on the result, the product is recommended to be used as a learning resource. The existence of the instructional development to multimedia-based art in the form of video tutorial to improve the quality of elderly life.
