Abstract

The author discusses the concept of parenthood in the light of its various components: biological, social and legal, sexual, etc. He details its contours as compared to conjugality and raises new aspects that are becoming more and more frequent, as for example the multiple parenthood. He concludes by noting the importance of being attentive to the construction developed by the family instead of pressing on them our own models.
